Though parkour is a male-dominated discipline, it is not exclusive. I think the biggest difficulty for women to overcome is that there is that constant comparison of ability. This of course is strange to begin with to me because Parkour is supposed to be non-competative. It is not about being better than the next guy or girl, or out tricking another traceur, or any of that nonsense.
Noways it seems like the essence is lost and the competativeness is kicking in. I just hope it can be salvaged and traceurs across the world hold on to the philosophy of Parkour—-IT IS ABOUT BETTERING YOURSELF. PUSHING YOUR LIMITS. Who cares what other people do? It is not your business and it certainly is not your place to criticize.
